The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (No. 59)

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a series of photographs from my vacation in Telluride, CO. The first five days were perfect. The next seven, not so much. I went three years without getting covid despite close contact with infected people on several occasions. And then I go to a relatively isolated, high-mountain village, where I had little contact with anyone, and I got covid. Go figure. Still, I’d rather have covid in Telluride than just about any place else.

The day after I got back from Colorado, Mrs. Redneck and I became grandparents for the first time. We jumped in the car, drove to Oxford, MS, and I got to hold this little guy for the first time. Allow me to introduce my grandson, Quincy Albert Thompson (b. July 25, 2023).

The Good
