A couple of typos, I think; in each case it *might* have been what you meant, if you were being sort of clever, but I’m guessing you probably meant the obvious thing:
In “the war of guns and canons“ I bet you meant “cannons”, and in “nigh-watchman” I bet you meant “night”.
I wouldn’t even have mentioned these except that this is an extract from your book manuscript and figured you wouldn’t want surprises there.
The mind begins to open up as you read your post and begin to understand where all of this MAGA movement actually came from. How did it start, how did we get to where we are now, and where are we headed? Look forward to the future post. Thank you.
Very interesting. Your separation of the War of Independence from the Revolution helped me understand better some of your other writings and influenced my own thinking about the concepts. Looking forward to future installments.
Love your work and how you think. Would you agree that we have for some time begun a new American revolution of the mind? And if you do would you agree that we need to build a coalition across certain philosophical and political differences (e.g., Objectivism and Libertarianism, Atheism and Judeo-Christian values), and cut through some dogmas to achieve a consensus founded on essentials (laissez-faire capitalism, individual rights, limited government, etc.).
fascinating! I can't wait for the rest.
Waiting eagerly.

That the Revolution was different from the War dates back to Adams
Right. Thompson brought the receipts.
